at The House Of Tribes

Poetry Night Cafe took place in the summer of 2006 it was a vision of Sweet Sensation's founder Sharice Vadon. She came up with the concept of decorating The House Of Tribes like a cafe. The kids recited poems by various poets like Langston Hughes and Maya Angelou. They also performed a play called "Fall Back". They truly enjoyed themselves this evening. The parents made delicious food, collard greens, yellow rice and beans and backed chicken. This was truly a family afair.
