Gospel Choir
Choir Director: Brother Joseph Edwared Harris, III

Our young people LOVE to sing! We know this, so we got together with Sharice Vadon of Sweet Sensation, Inc. and Brother Joseph Edward Harris, III of Abyssinian Baptist Church in order to start our Gospel Choir. This choir meets at The House Of Tribes Community Theatre during the summertime. In the pictures below, they are learning songs from the popular Broadway Play, "The Color Purple". They're enthusiasm is inspiring. According to Brother Joe, who has been conducting The House Of Tribes' Choir since 1998, the young people are learning another part of their history as American children. They are learning the history of Gospel which is deeply rooted in The Blues.
